Position Overview:
This role focuses on upholding the highest standards of service in our dining areas. You will assist the Outlet Manager in ensuring the seamless operation of the restaurant or lounge, utilizing all available resources to provide excellent service. You will be responsible for offering efficient and courteous food and beverage service, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, and ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.
You will work with a friendly, motivated team that you will recruit, lead, and develop, helping them realize their full potential. Your leadership will ensure that everyone on your team delivers genuine, heartfelt care to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Reception: Welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner, ensuring they have a positive experience from arrival to departure.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with all relevant departments to guarantee smooth service delivery.
- Assistance: Greet guests upon arrival, offering help whenever needed.
- Hotel Knowledge: Stay informed about the hotel’s services and local offerings, providing guests with accurate information and responding to their inquiries.
- Guest Profiles: Keep track of guest preferences using the Opera guest profile system to personalize their experience.
- Luggage Assistance: Ensure guests’ luggage is efficiently handled from arrival to check-out.
- Call Management: Address incoming calls promptly and courteously.
- Mail and Deliveries: Handle all messages, mail, and packages for guests and staff, ensuring timely delivery in a professional manner.
- Newspaper Delivery: Ensure morning newspapers are delivered to guests’ rooms.
- Prompt Service: Deliver messages and other items to guests without delay.
- Facility Maintenance: Regularly check the lobby area to ensure cleanliness and order.
- Concierge Services: Maintain a well-organized concierge desk and storeroom.
- Registration Cards: Handle registration cards from the Night Manager, ensuring they are filed according to established procedures.
- Guest Relations: Build and maintain positive public relations while consistently exceeding guest expectations.
- Departmental Coordination: Ensure regular and effective communication between departments, especially with the Front Office.
- Collaboration: Perform any reasonable tasks requested by company managers, executives, or guests.
