Full Job Description
Job Purpose:
The Warehouse & Logistics Junior Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Warehouse & Logistics team by ensuring that all tool and material requests made by the maintenance department are fulfilled safely, effectively, and in line with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily Operations: Carry out daily warehouse and logistics tasks in designated areas such as Goods Inwards, Main Stores, Sub Stores, Tool Stores, Line Maintenance Stores, Outstation Support, and Spares Distribution. Responsibilities include picking, packing, sorting, stocking, transporting, and pre-loading.
- Team Support: Assist the Warehouse and Logistics team, including both Assistants and Senior Assistants, to ensure that customer service level agreements (SLAs) are met and sectional targets are achieved.
- Compliance: Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the Engineering Procedure Manual (EPM) while strictly adhering to safety policies and procedures.
- Material Handling: Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and perform system transactions using handheld devices related to Warehouse & Logistics activities as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Minimum 10 years of schooling or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse and logistics environment.
- Skills: Basic English language proficiency and good physical fitness.
- Additional: A valid UAE driver’s license or Airside Driving Permit (ADP) is advantageous.
