Job Summary
As an Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to commercial, customs, and tax regulations, as well as international accounting standards. You will monitor financial performance, providing timely alerts to Operational, Brand, and Finance Management about underperformance or overperformance. In collaboration with management, you’ll help refine brand strategies and implement tactical financial solutions to enhance profitability.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Knowledge of retail business operations with experience in the retail industry.
- Understanding of financial, commercial, and Islamic regulations.
- Familiarity with automated business systems.
- Fully qualified Chartered or Cost Accountant.
- Experience in financial and inventory accounting, annual closures, audits, and tax-related matters.
- Proficiency in creating spreadsheets, generating reports, and providing insightful commentaries.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial team members.
- Experience using software such as Oracle and MS Office.
- Excellent English communication skills.
